TOYS R US has returned to the UK’s online high street and thousands of toys are already up for grabs.

The online toy shop is currently selling 14,000 toys from over 100 different suppliers.

The new online store has launched only weeks away from Christmas.

Customers can get free delivery on all order over £20 and next-day delivery on order placed before 6pm.

The website says: “We’re back! We can’t wait to develop and grow with you and your loved ones, over the coming weeks, months and years!”

Toys by Lego, Marvel and Star Wars are up for grabs as well as every day arts and crafts supplies from Crayola and Play-Doh.

Customers can search for different products appropriate to different ages.

Toys for children aged 18months and all the way up to those aged 11 plus are available to buy.

The standard delivery charges match those of Smyths toy store which charges £2.99 for delivery of orders between £10 and £20 and £4.99 on orders below £10.

But the Entertainer charges £2.99 for the delivery of orders under £39.99 and it’s free thereafter.

We found the Lego Creator 3in1 Dolphin and Turtle Sea Animals Toy Set on sale for £8.99 at Toys R Us and Smyths but £9 at The Entertainers.

However, if you were spending less than £10 it would make sense to buy the product from The Entertainer as the delivery charges are cheaper.

The big-name brand has also opened up a sister site in the UK dubbed “Babies R Us” which sells everything new mothers could possibly need.

Parents can buy anything from pushchairs to kids clothing as well as toys and baby carriers.

The news comes a few months after the toy retailer said that it would return to UK high streets with new stores.

The toy retailer will open its brand new shops in 2023.

Shoppers will be able to browse and play with toys before ordering them digitally in store – in a similar concept to the way Argos works.

Louis Mittoni, Toys R Us boss previously told The Sun: “This space allows our shoppers to get hands-on with toy products, being able to play and interact with the products before purchasing them from an equally large warehouse at the back of these stores.”

He added: “There will be nothing like these stores anywhere in the world”.

The new stores could stock up to 40,000 products, which can be delivered to store customers in seconds.

There are plans for larger stores as well as smaller branches, but a list of areas hasn’t been announced yet.

The iconic chain collapsed in 2018 and closed all of its 100 UK branches, but announced plans for a relaunch in October last year.

The UK relaunch follows successful attempts to make a comeback in the US and Australia.
