TOBY Carvery is selling an entire roast dinner in a sandwich — but people cannot work out how to eat it.

The Ultimate Roast Dinner Sandwich has slices of roast turkey, beef, gammon and pork served in a bun, along with sage and onion stuffing.

It is also filled with roast potatoes and mac and cheese.

There’s a Yorkshire pudding on top — containing a pig in a blanket.

A jug of gravy is provided with the meal.

The restaurant chain’s £7.99 monster has 888 calories in it and is now available nationwide from Monday to Saturday.

But it has left people wary on tackling it without making a mess.

One said: “Not sure how you are supposed to eat that when there’s gravy all over it.”

Another joked: “Do you get disposable gloves and wet-wipes with that?”

And someone else admitted: “It does look nice but how do you eat it?”

One punter was not impressed, saying: “The home of the roast shouldn’t be in a bap!”

A menu description reads: “Our famous carvery… now served in a sandwich! Roast turkey, beef, gammon and pork with sage & onion stuffing, roast potatoes and mac & cheese served in a brioche style bun.

“Topped with one of our famous Yorkshire puddings and a pig in blanket. Served with a pot of gravy.”
