BRITAIN’S biggest bargain hunters are thrilled as they’ve discovered one shop that sells cheaper toys than Asda and Costco.

Just in time for Christmas, parents have revealed department store John Lewis is selling discounted kids’ toys at 40 per cent off at one store in Cambridge.

The parents have shared the tips in the Facebook group: Extreme Couponing and Bargains UK Group.

The toys include the childhood classic Lego building blocks and a bright pink baby doll.

“Discounted toy section in John Lewis Cambridge Most toys 40% off- large Lego set £98 down to £50 only because the box is slightly damaged!

“Lots more toys the other side as well- Lego, toy prams, toy sets etc,” said the anonymous poster.

One commenter said: “Tk maxx do something similar.”

The Lego set, a Lego Friends Main Street Building, sold at John Lewis for £97.99, but was discounted to £50.

It is currently no longer available at the department store online.

The set sells for £88.99 at Costco, but it currently is out of stock.

While at Asda, the set sells for almost three times the price, £140.

The Interactive Baby Doll is currently on sale online for £32.

“This has been a Christmas present for our 2 year old granddaughter. Not only she love this doll, we all love this doll.

“Soft touch, the right size for toddlers and so many features to play with. Highly recommended,” said one review of the doll.

The Facebook group has also revealed other Christmas bargains, including cheap winter blankets for £1.50 from B&M.

B&M also sells cheap toys in general, with one mum revealing she bought nine toys for £60, believing she saved herself £75.
