SINGLES, be very careful which emoji you use when chatting to dates as it could make or break a match.
A study has revealed the three icons which make you less likeable when it comes to flirting.
And some might be shocked to find their popular emoji are a no-go.
The poo emoji has emerged as the worst emoji to use when dating.
It’s followed by the angry face emoji and the naughty aubergine / eggplant.
If you want romance success, apparently the kiss emoji, smiling face with hearts and heart eyes, are the ones to go for, according to 5,000 Americans surveyed by Adobe.
“You wouldn’t want to be in a relationship with someone who can’t share their emotions with you, right?” said Paul D Hunt, a font developer at Adobe.
“I believe the same applies to digital communication.
“Emoji usage, and being able to communicate emotionally digitally, is part of the expected package of emotional maturity.
“If you aren’t able to do so, it might leave a potential partner wondering whether you lack those skills in real life too.”

The findings reveal that the poo emoji isn’t just bad for romance, it’s actually the least liked emoji overall in the US.
Data suggests female emoji users (16 per cent) are significantly more likely to dislike the pile of poo than male users (10 per cent).
Meanwhile, men are significantly more likely to dislike the flushed face.
Elsewhere, the face with the cowboy hat, the cherry and the upside down face are said to be the three most misunderstood emoji.
New emoji soon
The report comes after it was announced that more than 30 new emoji will be coming soon.
They include a shaking head a high five and even maracas.
20 new icons were approved by the Unicode Consortium, a special group in charge of emoji.
Factoring in different skin tones, as well as left and right hand gestures, the total comes in at 31.
Apple, Samsung and other tech companies will need time to introduce them to their systems.
So they’re not expected to arrive on smartphones until sometime next year for most, according to Emojipedia.
However, Google hasn’t waited around, deciding to release its designs straight away.
The firm has said all are coming to Android “soon”.
