A THREE-bedroom home has hit the market for just £10,000 – but any potential new owners might want to think about redecorating.

The terraced Gilbey Road property in Grimsby, Lincolnshire, comes with two reception rooms, a kitchen, garden and an upstairs family bathroom.

But pictures from inside the home show varying prints of funky wallpaper in each of the three bedrooms.

In one room, a feature wall is fitted with a design which appears to resemble bricks – except a range of fluorescent tones are displayed instead of the colouring being various hues of red.

A link to the listing was posted to Reddit after someone noticed the kaleidoscopic print.

The original poster wrote told viewers to check out “picture five”, noting the colour pallet was “a trip”.

In the comments, people were more distracted by the home’s starting price.

One shocked social media user wrote: “£10k? For a whole house?!”

Another felt as though the advertised price was “just bait”.

Someone else said they didn’t understand why the price was listed so low but said they’d seen other houses going for about the same amount also for sale by auction.

They said many had similar descriptions along the lines of the property being tenanted, and the sellers haven’t been there themselves.

The listing on Zoopla states: “For Sale by under the hammer online auction Monday 25th-27th July 2022.

“Guide Price £10,000. A freehold three bedroom house.”

The other two rooms also feature overwhelming patterns with one showing an array of bright pink roses and another including a distracting arrangement of grey flowers.

The new owners might want to think about sprucing up the home – but they don’t have to spend a lot of money doing it.

Experts have revealed the minor improvements you can make to your home which could see thousands added to the value of your property – and the good news is that most jobs are easy enough for anyone to do themselves.

Some might argue that wallpaper is all the rage again, but according to the experts, a feature wall with wallpaper is SO fifteen years ago.

In fact, modern aesthetics has changed to favour painted feature walls, mostly because wallpaper is a hassle to apply and strip if you change your mind.

Bold colours on one wall in a bedroom or living room adds personality with minimal effort – and besides, if you don’t like it, you could always paint over it again.
