SHOPPERS are rushing to Iceland to bag a brand new festive-inspired Aunt Bessie’s staple and it’s “perfect for Christmas dinner”.
The frozen food specialist is selling Aunt Bessie’s Yorkshire puddings shaped like stars.

The eight roast dinner staples will set shoppers back just £2 and can be cooked in as little as three minutes.
Shoppers have taken to Facebook to share their joy at the new festive-inspired staple.
One said: “We need these for our feast on Christmas Day.”
Another shopper said: “I don’t care how old I am I need these!”

“I’m having these tonight for tea yum yum,” said a third shopper.
Others have even gone as far as saying they’re better than normal Yorkshire puddings.
But not everyone is satisfied with the twist on the original roast dinner staple.
“As a Yorkshire lass, I’m most offended!

“Don’t mess with a classic! P.45 Aunt Bessie,” said another shopper.
Shoppers can also pick up the brand new Yorkshire’s from Asda, Farmfoods, Booker, Henderson’s and Heron Foods.
Charlotte Vause, brand manager at Aunt Bessie’s said: “During the run-up to the festive period, we’ve been on a mission to create a new and exciting product that will allow families to elevate their roast dinners through their Yorkshire pudding offering.
“With an Aunt Bessie’s Yorkshire Pudding recipe shoppers know and love, and a prep time of just five minutes, consumers can enjoy the Christmas festivities knowing that Aunt Bessie’s is there to deliver on the taste and wow factor of their roast – creating a real star-shaped conversation starter over Christmas dinner.”
In other news, shoppers are expected to spend a record £13billion in supermarkets this month as they load their trolleys with festive food.
But thanks to fierce competition, the overall cost of Christmas dinner has edged up only slightly compared to 2022, despite inflation, according to retail analyst Kantar.
It now stands at £31.71, compared to £31 last year.
As supermarkets battle it out to offer the lowest prices in the final countdown to the big day, you can make substantial savings if you know where and when to shop.
So we took a look around the big six supermarkets.
We found that the cheapest supermarket to buy a traditional Christmas dinner from is Aldi, which has the lowest price for every item in our basket.
The total came to £32.85, with Lidl and Tesco coming in second and third cheapest, at £33.61 and £37.44.
