SAINSBURY’S shoppers were thrilled to learn that they could buy an eight-pack of “delicious” mango-flavoured Tango cans for just £3.

The sugar-free drinks have quickly become a crowd favourite and can be purchased for just a few pounds – as long as you do one thing.

According to a Facebook user who shared a post about the bargain today, Sainsbury’s shoppers can buy a pack of eight mango-flavoured sugar-free Tango cans for £3 – if they have a Nectar Card.

The woman wrote: “Saw these in Sainsbury, pack of 8 £3 with nectar card, Tango limited edition.”

Fans flooded her post with comments.

One person said: “I need to find some of these x.”

Another wrote: “Taste is lush.”

Someone else commented: “It’s absolutely beautiful to say its sugar free!x” and another wrote: “They are delicious!”

An eight-pack of the cans is advertised on the Sainsbury’s website as being £3.70.

The drink is described as “carbonated sugar-free apple and mango soft drink with sweeteners”, is vegan, and contains “no artificial colours or flavours”.

It comes after it was revealed in January that Tango and another iconic British soda, Vimto, were set to release new favours.

Tango was revealed to be releasing Raspberry Blast and Cherry Blast flavours – two flavours in the Ice Blast slushy.

And it was revealed Vimto Discovery Zero would be releasing new flavours passionfruit and lychee, and mango and dragonfruit.

The announcements were made in a TikTok post by foodie newfoodspotteruk, and on Facebook in a budgeting group.

Eager fans could hardly contain their excitement.

One said: “WHEN IS THE TANGO ICE BLAST COMING OUTTTTTT.”

Another wrote: “The Vimto ones actually sound nice.”

And a third commented: “I want to purchase some of this new vimto.”

What is a Sainsbury’s Nectar Card?

Sainsbury’s loyalty scheme is called the Nectar Card.

Shoppers earn points when they spend money at Sainsbury’s, Sainsbury’s petrol stations and other retailers including eBay and Dulux Decorator Centres.

You can get 1 point per £1 on all qualifying spends at Sainsbury’s supermarkets and online.

You can also collect 1 point for every 1 litre of fuel when you fill up at Sainsbury’s petrol stations.
