However a new change in the next update has enraged players.

The Sims 4 Laundry List includes upcoming changes to the game that address a number of issues.

These are usually minor bugs that can affect players’ enjoyment of the game.

Some of the bugs addressed in the latest Laundry List include students randomly getting expelled from school, and benches placed in the wrong category.

While players are happy to see that a number of these minor issues will be fixed, one change upset the fanbase.

Photos are one of the best ways for your Sims to quickly gain friendship with another Sim.

Taking a selfie together greatly increased friendship, and was the main method hardcore players used to build relationships.

It seems that EA thought this mechanic was unbalanced, and has reduced the friendship gain from selfies.

The latest Laundry List reads: “Taking Photo causes dramatic relationship/reputation gain.”

These patch notes make it seem like the high relationship gain was an error, but many players believed it to be a feature.

The change will mean players will have to find new strategies to build their Sims relationships and reputation.

Players took to social media to express their frustrations.

One said: “Why do they do this? It wasn’t hurting gameplay in any way because you don’t have to do it, and removing it benefits no one.”

EA will likely not reverse the change, and players will have to get used to the difference.
