Disney has predicted its streaming service will have as many as 260m subscribers by 2024 after a successful first year.
The entertainment group has revealed a slew of shows for Disney Plus, including more Star Wars spin-offs.
It already boasts 87m subscribers after launching the service in November 2019, but says this could rise to between 230m and 260m in four years – triple its previous forecast.

Netflix, the market leader in video streaming, has 195m paying customers. But Disney is hoping to win over more households with £11billion of annual investment in content, helping to fund 35 new television series overall.
These include Star Wars shows with franchise stars Ewan McGregor and Hayden Christensen reprising their roles of Obi-Wan Kenobi and Anakin Skywalker (Darth Vader).
The slew of Star Wars content follows the critical success of The Mandalorian, which was used as the flagship show for Disney Plus’s launch.
Other series will feature the Marvel superheroes franchise, while there will be more Pixar animations.
