December is just around the corner which means that for many a tree will be the next thing to be ticked off the to-do list.

We have scoured the market for the cheapest Christmas trees around at the moment and prices start from just £15.
But remember before you rush to splash the cash do shop around as you may be able to find cheaper elsewhere.
You can use price comparison sites such as Google Shopping to compare the prices across various retailers.
We did our price checks online and you might be able to get a better deal by visiting your local store or garden centre.

Prices also change a lot this time of year so it is best to have a last-minute look around when you are ready to buy.

It is a real Nordman Fir and is described as being “minimal yet elegant’.
The tree has an A-line shape and has been sustainably sourced from Aberdeenshire.
It is listed as being from 160-180cm tall which is around 5ft to 6ft.
The discounter also has a large size for £24.99.
Although the trees are showing on the website you will need to visit a store if you want to buy one.

Home Bargains

If you don’t have a lot of space for a big bushy tree this option from Home Bargains could work for you.
The 6ft artificial slim tree is “ideal for smaller thinner spaces” and has 448 tips that you can display your decorations from.
Lidl
- Medium Nordman Fir non-drop Christmas Tree

Lidl has the same offering as Aldi for the same price.
The Nordman Fir tree is non-drop and has been “hand pruned” to give a lovely bushy shape.
It is listed as being from 160-180cm tall which is around 5ft to just under 6ft tall, and is available in stores only.
Lidl recommends that to get the best out of the tree you should saw approximately 5cm off the base and place it in a water holding stand.

The essentials tree from Dunelm has “realistic fir tips” and is easy to open and display.
It has a base included and also has a five-star customer rating on the website.
Delivery on this tree would cost £3.95 for standard or £2.95 for next day.
B&Q

The Eiger artificial tree from B&Q is currently reduced from £39 down to £30.
If the 6ft size does not suit you, there are three other sizes to choose from including 4ft, 7.5ft and 10ft.

It was originally £29.99 so you are making a saving of 50% on this at the moment.
The tree is a realistic design and has traditional green tips, it also comes with a secure plastic stand.
Wilko
- 6ft Norway Spruce Artificial Christmas Tree

The Wilko website also has the same Norway Spruce as The Range.
This is due to the fact that the retailer now owns the discounter.
The tree is available in two other sizes, a 4ft which retails at £10 and a 7ft which retails at £20.
