TESCO shoppers can get 1litre bottles of Baileys for just £9.50 from tomorrow – but you’ll need to be a Clubcard member to get it.

The huge bottles of booze usually cost £15 at the supermarket, so it could be a good time to stock up on the Irish cream liqueur for Christmas.

The deal will be the cheapest price among the UK’s major supermarkets but it’ll only be available in stores and online until December 14.

If you’re planning to stock up, keep in mind you’ll be limited to buying a maximum of six bottles each.

If you shop online, also be aware that Tesco charges £4.50 for home delivery and that there’s a £25 minimum spend.

Consumers can sign up to Tesco Clubcard for free and earn points every time you shop that can later be exchanged for money-off vouchers.

Shoppers are given one point for every £1 spent and each Clubcard point is worth 1p when you shop.

The discount will be applied automatically when you scan your Clubcard card in-store, or when you make an order from your account online.

The offer comes as Asda and Morrisons sold the 1litre bottles for £10 and £9.99 in their Black Friday sales.

Currently, Asda and Morrisons are both charging £12 for the bottles, while Sainsbury’s charges £20.

The Tesco offer was first shared by user of deal-sharing website hotukdeals, and it’s racked up comments from keen Baileys drinkers.

One user said: “Massive price war going off now!

“Morrisons was the cheapest at £9.99 but this has beat it now I wonder how low they will go!”

While another added: “Wow this is an amazing price.”

Baileys is traditionally enjoyed on its own or over ice, or if you’re looking for a twist, you can add it to your coffee or pour it over vanilla ice cream.

As always, remember to be Drinkaware.

Red Velvet Baileys was rolled out in the UK last month – just in time for the festive season.

Meanwhile, Tesco is giving out £5 vouchers to loyal Clubcard customers – will you get one?

Shoppers have also praised Tesco’s “hilarious” Christmas ad where the naughty list is scrapped.
