With the Christmas season officially over, supermarkets are selling popular items for cheap.

And this time Tesco has reduced the price of a biscuit box all Brits love.

A money-saver has spotted McVitie’s Family Circle Biscuit Assortment going for less than £1.

Boxes containing 400g of ten different biscuits are normally worth £2 in stores.

But a bargain hunter has spotted the sweet treat selling for only 62p.

Posting on Facebook group Extreme Couponing and Bargains UK, the user said: “Buscuits are 62p each. Best Before date is June 2024.”

But customers are urged to rush as the item is subject to availability in some Tesco Express shops.

The biscuit giant recently launched a new white chocolate flavour of the beloved Digestives.

Fans have had mixed reviews over the re-released McVities treat – with some slamming it as “disappointing”.

But others were devastated to find the biccy had already raced off the shelves as it returned with a new recipe after being discontinued almost 20 years ago.

It was revealed they had staff analysing Brits’ reactions on social media – which proved polarising.

Some people weren’t fans – including one woman who said the chocolate-to-biscuit ratio was well off.

It comes after a Sainsbury’s shopper claimed to have found “the best bargain of the year” as a Christmas favourite is slashed to just a penny.

The bargain hunter took to Reddit to share the mega deal find to fellow savvy customers.

Deal lovers are urged to rush to their nearest supermarket and snap up 250ml tubs of Sainsbury’s Extra Thick Brandy Cream.

Food fans were also racing to Sainsbury’s as the supermarket slashed the prices of cheese in a mega sale.

The supermarket giant reduced down to just 19p its own brand of festive cheeses.
