TESCO shoppers have days left to spend Clubcard vouchers before they expire.

The supermarket has warned shoppers that they will lose out on discounts if they don’t use these vouchers as soon as possible

Tesco vouchers are given to customers who earn points throughout the year using their Clubcard.

But as vouchers are valid for two years, any that were issued in November 2020 must be used by November 30 this year.

Vouchers are sent out with your statement in February, May, August and November – you’ll get them by post, email or text depending on what you’ve selected.

You can see how many vouchers you have – in the Tesco Clubcard app.

And if you don’t use them before their expiry date, you’ll lose them and miss out.

Shoppers can use Clubcard vouchers in-store and online to save money on their Tesco shop.

If you decide to use your vouchers for your Tesco shop, then 150 points get you £1.50 to spend.

But customers can also use redeem these vouchers with Tesco Clubcard partners.

If you rack up 150 points, you’ll receive a £1.50 voucher, and vouchers can be redeemed at multiple Tesco partners.

Vouchers can be used to cut the cost of car fuel and can even be tripled in value to spend at partners including Pizza Express and Cineworld.

You can also swap vouchers for money off your Tesco mobile bill.

What if I don’t want to spend my vouchers now?

If you don’t want to spend your vouchers just yet, then it might be worth trying this clever trick that could extend the use of your vouchers.

Earlier this year, Martin Lewis‘ Money Saving Expert (MSE) explained that Tesco customers could make a small purchase on the Tesco Clubcard Rewards website  and from there, you’ll get the remaining points credited back to your account.

For example, if you buy a 50p voucher with one of Tesco’s partners, like Pizza Express, you’ll get a £1.50 voucher to spend in the restaurant and the rest of your points will return to your Clubcard for another two years.

So if you had £10 worth of points and you buy a 50p restaurant voucher, the remaining £9.50 will go back to your account instead of expiring.

This trick was highlighted for the last cohort of expiring vouchers but we’ve asked Tesco if it’ll work this time and will update the piece once we know more.
