TESCO has extended the deadline for Clubcard customers to redeem their voucher codes with partners in a major update.
The Sun revealed earlier today many shoppers were experiencing issues redeeming the vouchers before their value was set to change.
Clubcard points spent with partners are currently worth triple value, and were due to drop to double value from tomorrow.
But the retailer has now issued a major update, saying it is extending the deadline until 11.59pm on June 15.
Customers will now have longer to exchange their points to ensure they get them for triple the face value.
A number of customers have been taking to Twitter today complaining about delays redeeming their vouchers, leaving them in danger of being left out of pocket.
One shopper said: “I’ve managed to get two lots of Cineworld vouchers over the last week but still have nearly £180 worth of points to claim (that’s it tripled).”
Their points are worth £60 or triple the value at £180 when redeemed for rewards before the deadline.
After today, they would have been worth only £120, but now the customer will have longer to redeem the vouchers before losing out on £60.
