Now, Tesco shoppers can celebrate by bagging themselves a free bottle of Budweiser at the checkouts.

All you need to do to get your coupon is fill out a few quick details here.

The app will ask for a phone number and your age before your free coupon gets sent over text.

You’ll need to be over 18, and the offer ends on August, Sunday 7.

But be quick – there are 150,000 redeemable coupons available but they’ll likely be snatched up fast.

A bottle of Budweiser would normally cost you £1.69 at Tesco, although they might be cheaper at other supermarkets.

You’ll only be able to claim one coupon per person and you’ll need to head in store in order to use it.

You can find your nearest store using the locator tool. This offer is not available online, so do check how far you’ll need to travel in order to get it.

And remember this offer is subject to availability – so you might want to ring ahead to make sure they have plenty in stock to avoid disappointment.

But don’t worry – there are plenty more freebies and offers available throughout many UK supermarkets and food chains.

For example, kids can eat free in most major supermarket cafes for the remainder of summer.

There are at least 11 different places you can go, including Asda and M&S, and for most you just need to buy yourself a meal in order to get your kids’ food for free.

There might be a minimum spend of £5 – although this varies – so double check what the requirements are wherever you decide to dine.

There also might also be a specific time in which you can claim the freebie – at Morrisons, kids eat free after 3pm, and you save roughly £3 with the deal.

In terms of drinks, Costa often have cold drinks for free – but you’ll need to check with your nearest cafe if any deals are still on.

For more, you can also claim free cake at Costa.

If it’s your birthday, you can get cake for free which could save you around £2.50.

You have to have the free Costa Coffee app to get the deal, which is free to download via Google Play or the App Store.

You need to put in a few personal details and opt into marketing. Make sure your birthday is right in settings.

Bu it’s not just Costa dishing out the birthday treats – at Greggs you can also get a free sweet treat but you need to have signed up for the rewards app to claim.

And let’s not forget McDonald’s have a whole host of freebies on offer at the moment.

If you haven’t had time to sign up for free school meals yet, claiming free food and discounts is a great way to save cash over summer.

For example, you can get a Big Mac with fries for £1.99 – and  all you need is an old McDonald’s receipt from a previous trip, no longer than 60 days ago.

You can also get a load of discounts using the McDonald’s app.

For example, the app offers any student who shows their valid Student Beans or student ID a free Cheeseburger, Mayo Chicken or McFlurry if they buy any extra value or wrap meal.
