Is Tesco open over the Easter bank holidays?

Tesco’s opening hours vary from branch to branch so customers should check the supermarket’s store locator.

On Good Friday, many of its stores will operate as normal but those that are typically open late will close earlier than usual (10pm).

On Easter Sunday, all of Tesco’s large stores in England, Wales and Northern Ireland will be closed.

Meanwhile, Scottish stores will be open from 8am until 8pm and the majority of Express stores remain open as usual.

On Easter Monday, store opening hours will vary depending on location and store type – many large stores will be operating with reduced hours, closing by 8pm.

And Express stores will be open as usual.

You can find opening hours on Tesco‘s website. You just have to enter your postcode to find your nearest branch.

Some Tesco locations are open 24 hours a day, but typically larger stores open from 6am or 7am.

They then close at around 10pm or 11pm, but it’s worth checking the specific location you’re going to, as exact times can vary.
