IT’S the must-have summer tipple, but you don’t have to spend a fortune to get a good glass of rosé.

It’s been flying off the shelves at a rate of 25 bottles a minute at M&S, which has discounts until Monday as part of its rosé wine festival.

I searched the supermarket aisles to find ALL the great deals — for £6 or less . . .

M&S: Until Monday you can get the Conte Priuli Pinot Grigio Venezia Blush for £6 down from £8 at M&S.

I really loved this pale dry wine from Northern Italy which has strawberry and floral notes.

It’s a great choice with seafood.

SAINSBURY’S: I liked the Mondelli Puglia Rosato, £5.50, which has similar notes to the M&S wine, but this time it’s from Puglia in Southern Italy.

If you prefer something juicier and sweeter, try the Penguin Sands rosé for £4 a bottle which goes well with spicy Asian food.

ASDA: The supermarket’s Extra Special range has a Malbec rosé from Argentina which is dry with bold flavours and notes of watermelon, raspberries and violets.

It’s down from £6.50 to £6 at the moment.

In the same range there’s another Pinot Grigio from Italy for £4.50 down from £6.

MORRISONS: The zesty Fairbank Sauvignon Blanc rosé from South Africa is down from £7 to £4.99.

Or the award-winning own-brand Morrisons White Zinfandel is £4.69.

It is sweet and fruity, with a hint of cherry and a deeper pink colour.

It’s great with pizza.

ALDI, LIDL AND TESCO: At Aldi, I liked the Blutengarten German pinot noir rosé, £5.99, which is great with salads and goat’s cheese.

Meanwhile, Lidl has a nice dry French pinot noir for £5.49.

At Tesco, Caparelli Italian rosé blush is £4.30.

The retailer also has Gallo Family Vineyards Summer rosé for £4.

This has peachy flavours and a reduced alcohol strength of 5.5 per cent where most wines are around 12.5 per cent.
