It comes as Amazon pulls in content from James Bond maker MGM following a mega $8.45billion takeover last year.

Amazon has now signed a content deal with Warner Bros Discovery.

This will include shows such as Cake Boss, Extreme Couponing, Ghost Brothers, Paranormal Lockdown, Say Yes to the Dress and Long Lost Family.

It means Freevee will have another 23 channels.

However, it’s not clear whether the new channels will be available globally or just launched in the US.

You can already watch a load of free content from the Freevee app, as well as through Prime Video on your smart TV.

Current shows include the likes of Judy Justice, the brand new show from Judge Judy Sheindlin.

Freevee is also the new home for Aussie soap Neighbours which is set to make a big return.

The announcement comes after reports that Amazon could be planning to launch an ad-supported version of Amazon Prime as well.

That project is thought to be separate from Freevee.

“FAST Channels offer Freevee viewers an always-on, 24/7, lean-back viewing experience that immediately connects them to a selection of TV shows, movies, and unscripted programming such as news, sports, and music,” said Ryan Pirozzi, head of Amazon Freevee.

“MGM and Warner Bros. Discovery create content that appeals to a diverse fan base—action, comedy, drama, scripted, unscripted, and more.”
