SHOPPERS are flocking to nab the giant Cadbury Mini Eggs that are perfect for sharing.

The delicious creamy Cadbury milk chocolates are now available in massive 1kg bags.

Waitrose is selling kg Cadbury Mini Eggs of £12.50 in stors and online and shoppers are going wild for them.

The pricey supermarket has 1kg on sale online for £12.50, that works out to just £1.25 per 100g.

The bags were recently shared on the Hotukdeals website. 

One user declared: “Share? Yeah right.”

Another said: “What’s not to love about this?” 

“1kg of mini eggs for baking, hiding, sharing or nursing over a few weeks, at a much better value price than the little bags.”

It looks like the giant bag has seen a price drop as it used to be listed at £15.

The closest thing you’ll find to this size is a pack of eight mini eggs pouches in Tesco which is priced at £4 and holds 308g of chocolate.

Even if you bought three of these at £4 you still wouldn’t have enough chocolate to beat the 1kg Waitrose bag.

Fans went wild for them back in December but it’s still worth having a look around now to see if you can bag the deal. 

With deals like this it’s always worth checking the unit pricing, also know as the price per 100g.

Sometimes buying in bulk may seem like a good ideas but it actually ends up more expensive than buying indivdual units.

Remember it is always good to shop around to make sure you are getting the cheapest deal.

The closer it gets to Easter the more likely it is that other retailers will start competing to be the cheapest in a bid to get your cash.

You can use shopping comparison tools such as Google Shopping and Trolley.co.uk to compare the cost of items across different retailers.

Also, remember that there is a chance you can get a different offer in-store to what is online so keep your eyes peeled.
