AN Apple fan has crafted a stunning video showcasing what could end up being the design of Apple’s self-driving car.

YouTube user ConceptCreator put together impressive 3D renders of the long-rumoured vehicle with a sleek, curved chassis.

Inside sources revealed earlier this week that Apple plans to release the top-secret car in 2024.

ConceptCreator, who also goes by Jermaine online, worked with Dutch tech site Let’sGoDigital on the imagery.

He said he began putting the designs together “some time ago” but felt now was the right time to release them following this week’s revelations.

The car in the clip features a glorious grey colourway that resembles the space grey available on the new Apple AirPods Max headphones.

Apple’s classic curved design gives the vehicle a futuristic look that wouldn’t look out of place in a Sci-Fi flick.

The iPhone-maker’s logo is embossed on the front and the headlights stretch lengthways across the front of the bonnet.

ConceptCreator cast doubt over whether Apple would ever finish the project, which has been in the work for some time.

“If it does, of course no charger included!” he joked.

Apple ‘aiming to launch self-driving CAR in 2024 with breakthrough battery technology’

Buyers may only have to wait a few years before they can get their hands on them, according to a report this week.

Sources with knowledge of the plans told Reuters that the car, known as Project Titan, will finally see a completion date of 2024.

Project Titan, which has seen an ill-fated start since it was first launched in 2014, has gone through a number of iterations as Apple looked to what the future of driver-less passenger cars could look like.

Apple attempted to design its own vehicle when the project first launch, before scrapping that idea to focus on software and battery building instead.

In 2018, when a long-time Apple veteran Doug Field, who briefly worked at Tesla, returned to the project, he laid off 190 people from the project team the following year.

Apple has since taken steps to build a vehicle for consumers, sources told Reuters.

Although the plans have not been public just yet, the sources say the tech giant has been wanting to build a personal vehicle to rival other companies.

Some say the coronavirus pandemic has created significant delays for Apple, which could push the production of such a driverless vehicle into 2025 or even after.

Tim Cook – Unrelenting Apple CEO who ‘leaves staff in tears’

He’s a ruthless businessman who rose from humble beginnings to become CEO of the world’s most valuable company.

And now Apple boss Tim Cook, 59, is worth a reported $1billion less than a decade after he took over from cutthroat founder Steve Jobs.

Cook grew up in the small town of Robertsdale, Alabama.

His father Donald was a shipyard worker, while mother Geraldine was a homemaker.

Cook graduated with a Bachelor of Science in industrial engineering from Auburn University in 1982.

As a student, he developed a system to improve the traffic lights near the college that was so successful it was adopted by the local police force.

This promising early start was followed by the astonishing success which saw Cook work at several tech giants before joining Apple in 1998.

The Alabaman is said to have received a personal invitation from Jobs to join the company.

Following Jobs’ tragic death in 2011, Cook was handed the reigns and has taken the company from strength to strength.

Like Jobs, he’s reported to rule with an iron fist, sometimes leaving staff “in tears” following meetings, according to The Wall Street Journal.

Staff refer to Cook’s Friday meeting with operations and finance staff as ‘date night with Tim’ as they often run long into the night.

Cook has overseen the launch of several major Apple products during his nine-year stint, including the Apple Watch and Apple TV+.
