Steam players are in shock as unbelievably good 91-rated game is on sale for pennies

Luckily, there are always gaming deals going on where players can pick up excellent games at discount prices.

We scour the web looking for the best deals so that we can pass the amazing savings on to you.

There is a great sale currently on Steam called the 2K Publisher Sale.

All games published by 2K have deep discounts, with some going as far as 95% off.

Our favourite pick from the sale is XCOM, the legendary strategy game from Firaxis.

Rated 91 on review aggregate site Metacritic, players love building their squad to take on the horde of alien enemies.

The blurb for XCOM reads: “XCOM: Enemy Unknown will place you in control of a secret paramilitary organisation called XCOM.

“As the XCOM commander, you will defend against a terrifying global alien invasion by managing resources, advancing technologies, and overseeing combat strategies and individual unit tactics.”

XCOM is currently on sale on Steam at a 90% discount.

You can pick it up for just $2.99 / £1.49, giving you a huge saving over the regular price.

You can also grab the excellent XCOM 2, which is rated 88 on Metacritic.

There is an even bigger discount on the sequel and you can get it for $2.99 / £1.74, at 95% off.
