YOU truly know the festive season is here when Starbucks’s red cups return.

This year they will be filled with some returning favourites like the eggnog latte as well as new drinks like praline cookie hot chocolate.

The coffee chain announced its autumn menu in September and pumpkin spice lovers have been enjoying the cold brew and hot drink variations since.

But it’s time for Starbucks fans to get ready for Christmas as the festive menu is set to hit stores from November 3.

Although customers can get early access to the new range via the app from today.

You can find your nearest Starbucks store online or the drinks will also be available on delivery.

What is new on the 2022 drinks menu?

For those of you who don’t mind the cold there is a brand new toffee nut cream cold brew.

It’s infused with vanilla syrup and topped with a toffee nut cream foam and sprinkles.

Prices start at £3.90 for a tall, which is a regular, but will increase based on the size.

Also new for this year is the praline cookie hot chocolate which sounds perfect for those with a sweet tooth.

Topped with whipped cream, this drink is made up of mocha sauce and steamed milk with flavours of cookie, caramelised hazelnut, almond and walnut.

A tall costs £3.65.

Which items are coming back this year?

Back for another year is the toffee nut latte which is available hot, iced or as a Frappuccino. Prices start at £3.55.

Combining dessert and coffee is the caramel waffle latte which debuted last year.

It comes with a waffle sauce and is topped with caramel whipped cream and a spiced caramel waffle crunch topping.

The gingerbread latte is a festive favourite and is back with customers able to grab it hot, iced or as a Frappucino. Prices for this drink start at £3.55.

Finally, another popular choice that’s making a comeback is the eggnog latte which is available hot or iced from £3.65.

What else is new on the festive food menu?

There are also some brand new food items on this year’s menu including the ginger mini loaf cake to go with your gingebread latte.

The cake costs £2.29 and is topped with white chocolate icing and crushed ginger biscuits.

And to go with your toffee nut latte there is also a brand new muffin, £2.19, and a mini loaf cake for £2.29.

For a savoury Christmas fix you can also get a pigs under blanket roll for £4.89.

This is a crusty Vienna roll with pork sausage, smoked bacon, sage and onion mayonnaise, cheddar cheese and cranberry chutney.

Which food items are returning?

The festive feast panini, £4.89, the brie and cran-merry Focaccia, £4.89, and the ’tis the season turkey sandwich, £4.19, are all coming back to stores this year.

For a sweet fix, the red velvet loaf cake, £2.29 and the Christmas tree brownie, £2, are also making a return.

The chocolate and caramel muffin for plant-based customers is back again too, for £2.09.
