English cricket’s ruling body has gone “over the top” by suspending Ollie Robinson over racist and sexist tweets, culture secretary Oliver Dowden stated on Monday morning.

Dowden said the England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB) should “think again” in a tweet he posted on the issue.
