The free-to-air channel is available in HD on Sky and features a number of big hit shows.

This includes Sky Originals and the first series of HBO‘s True Detective, ahead of a fourth series coming out on Sky Atlantic early next year.

Tonight, the channel will show Magnum P.I. which is usually exclusive to Sky Max.

Old favourites also return, such as Merlin, Star Trek: Deep Space Nine, Border Patrol and Ghost Whisperer.

However, the changes could screw up any recordings or series links you have on your Sky box.

Therefore the firm has warned customers they may need to reset them to avoid missing their favourite shows.

The channel will remain on number 151 on Sky Q.

And on Sky Glass and Sky Stream it’ll stay at 158.

Sky Mix will also be available on Virgin Media, Freesat and Freeview.

However, it won’t be available in HD on Freeview.

The channel number on Freeview is also changing, from 36 to 11.

So viewers may have to rescan their box to receive Sky Mix.
