Another thing that uses more juice is the keyboard – or the haptic keyboard as it’s officially known.
The vibration with every touch is a great way to make typing more comfortable, confirming each character you’ve tapped.
But the privilege comes as a cost.
Getting it to work as well as it does obviously requires battery.
Fortunately, you can just switch it off.
Here’s how it’s done on Android.
How to turn off haptic feedback on Android
The settings may vary somewhat from phone to phone but they should roughly be the same.
First up, open the Settings.

Find System, then go to Languages & input.
Head over to On-screen keyboard.
Then select Gboard.
Slide down to Haptic feedback on keypress.
And switch it off.
This will then stop the keyboard from vibrating with each touch and conserve your battery power.
