The supermarket hasn’t officially revealed details of the sale, but Tesco fans have already started posting their half price finds on social media.

One shopper found a Land Rover Discovery toy car on sale at the discounted price of £50 – down from £100.

They also said Tesco is selling a Sylvanian Families home gift set for £35 – half the the original £70 price tag.

Other items posted in the Money Saver Online Facebook group included table top hockey for £10, a Barbie hair dressing kit for £7 and Hot Wheels sets starting at £10.

An Evo Plus dirt rider scooter is £40, 50% off the original £80 price tag.

Shoppers can also snap up a Fisher-Price musical zoo train for £15, down from £30.

It’s always a good idea to shop around before you make a purchase to make sure you’re getting the best deal.

You should only buy something if you were already planning to make a purchase, not just because it’s in the sale.

Otherwise, you’re not really making a saving.

The sale was scheduled to start on September 29, but it seems some discounts have hit stores early.

Tesco hasn’t confirmed which stores have already launched the toy sale – so you’ll have to check your local shop.

It also hasn’t said whether the discounts will be available online, or what other offers are available.

We will add extra information to this article when Tesco has confirmed the details.

However, it looks like the lower prices will only be available to Clubcard members.

You can sign up for a Clubcard online, and discounts will automatically be applied when you make an online purchase.

If you’re shopping in store you’ll have to scan your card to get the offer.

Tesco has also slashed the price of school uniforms, with prices starting at £1.50.

This savvy shopper revealed the date she starts Christmas shopping to help save her £1,500.

Asda has already launched its toy sale so parents can start getting ready for the festive season.
