The latest edition of Logan Paul and KSI’s controversial energy drink tastes like sour apples and berries.

Earlier this month the energy drink was expected to fly off the shelves at Aldi, with a cheaper £1.99 price tag.

However, the release was delayed due to stock issues and the supermarket apologised to customers.

But now Prime fans can find the Glowberry energy drinks in high street chain Sports Direct for £3.

Both rare and regular Glowberry Prime drinks have the same flavour but the rare drink is a limited edition with a slightly different bottle design.

The Sun has reached out to Sports Direct to confirm the Prime drinks’ price and availability in stores.

Facebook group NewfoodsUK shared the find online saying: “Limited edition rare Glowberry Prime and regular Glowberry Prime now available at Sports Direct, £3 each.”

The post gained over 597 likes and 1.3k comments.

Facebook users said they were heading into the store to pick up the drinks but many claimed they had been ripped off after buying the drink elsewhere for much higher prices.

One user said: “Will have to get one.”

Another said: “Typical now I’ve bought it for twice that much online!!”

“Paid 12 quid off Amazon! Fuming,” said a third.

A fourth user said: “This is the only one my kids haven’t got yet, I waited for a reasonable price.”

It doesn’t look like the Glowberry Prime drinks are available in any other UK supermarkets just yet.

Candy Mail currently has a 500ml bottle priced at £14.99 reduced from the original price of £19.99 but that doesn’t include shipping.

But you can find other Prime drinks in Sainsbury’s and Asda, though prices may vary.

Prime drinks have created a social media frenzy amongst young since they launched.

Some newsagents have been hiking up the price of the hard-to-get energy drinks, some charging up to £100 for one bottle.

The craze has led to mobs of youngsters scrambling for a bottle in some stores and one dad even forked out £1,000 to buy his sons a pack for Christmas.

Health experts have raised concerns about the popular drinks’ extremely high caffeine levels

However, this is likely to be the least of KSI’s concerns as he is due to clash with Love Islander Tommy Fury tomorrow October 14 in an influencer-boxing fight

WHY WORRY ABOUT PRIME?

CAFFEINE:There is around four times as much caffeine in PRIME as a can of Coke.

Too much of the stimulant can cause poor sleep, headaches and nausea.

TAURINE: Food chiefs say this amino acid is safe to drink in higher quantities than PRIME’s 37.5mg. But studies show ingesting huge amounts may hurt the heart or brain.

B VITAMINS: PRIME Energy boasts up to 2.8 times more than the daily recommended amount of B6 and B12, with the Department of Health warning too much B6 or B12 “could be harmful”.

FULL INGREDIENTS: Carbonated Water, Coconut Water Concentrate, Citric Acid, Flavouring, Calcium, Potassium, Sodium Citrate, Caffeine, Sweeteners (Sucralose, Acesulfame K), Theanine (Camellia Sinensis), Preservatives (Potassium Sorbate, Sodium Benzoate), Inositol, Taurine, Glucuronolactone, Stabilisers (Gum Arabic, Acacia Gum, Glycerol Esters Of Wood Rosins), Vitamin B6, Vitamin B12

In other news, TK Maxx shoppers have spotted rare KitKat flavours that have never officially been launched in the UK.

Plus Terry’s Chocolate Orange fans are going wild for ‘new favourite’ chocolate bar spotted on supermarket shelves.

And shoppers are rushing to buy Quality Street tubs for just £3.99 – and they’re the cheapest around.
