SHOPPERS have spotted a new Prime dupe on the shelves as the drink craze continues.

The item was spotted at B&M – and it only costs £1.25 per bottle.

The original drink was created by YouTube stars KSI and Logan Paul.

Demand for the item was so huge that it flew off shelves immediately, with shoppers queuing outside Asda and Aldi stores when it was being sold.

But now one savvy customer has shared a find, which is similar to the viral energy drink, which they spotted in the bargain store.

Posting on the Facebook group Extreme Couponing and Bargains UK, they said: “Just been to B&M and they are doing their own version of the Prime drink… basically the same drink in a very similar bottle.

“My daughter just tried the orange one and really liked it.

The shopper added that it “may be helpful to those parents who have been unable to get hold of real Prime”.

Others in the comment section were excited by the dupe, with one writing: “I didn’t know it was out so thanks for the heads up. Less sugar in this version also”.

Another said: “It’s actually a real ‘hydration’ drink”.

The drink, named Fuel, sells for £1.25 on the B&M website, but you’ll need to head in stores to get it as you can’t buy on line for delivery.

You can find your nearest branch using the store locator tool on its website.

Each bottle is 500ml and they’re available in two flavours – Lemon and Lime, and Orange.

The real Prime drink usually sells for around £2 but some shops have been flogging the drink for far more as there’s huge demand.

For example, one punter sold a “rare” bottle for a whopping £1,000.

Another pub owner accepted the drinks as payments in hopes the product’s price will soar once supply dries out.

It was priced at £1.99 per bottle when it sold in Aldi stores.

The real Prime Energy drink comes in 11 flavours – including blue raspberry, tropical punch and grape.

B&M’s dupe contains the following ingredients:

  • 665mg Electrolytes
  • BCAA’s
  • Vitamin B
  • Vitamin D
  • Vitamin C + E
  • Zero sugar

The Prime equivalent contains mostly water added with vitamins and minerals and has few calories with no added sugar.

It is also made up of coconut water but does not have any caffeine in it.

The Sun has asked B&M how many stores are selling the dupe and we’ll update this story when we know more.

But remember to browse around other shops too – you never know what bargain you could miss out on.

You can use comparison sites like the Google Shopping, Trolley.co.uk or the Latest Deals app to look at how much an item costs elsewhere.

We couldn’t find any other dupes like B&M’s but you should still keep an eye out in case more crop up.

There’s also new Prime drink that will be coming to Asda stores in April, which will contain 10 calories, zero sugar and 300mg of electrolytes, but it’ll only sell to those aged 18 or over.

The new flavours will be Blue Raspberry, Lemon Lime, Tropical Punch, Strawberry Watermelon, and Orange Mango.

It’s not yet clear how much it will be, but you can read more about it in our story here.
