With the cost of living crisis making it ever difficult to bag a bargain when it comes to doing the weekly food shop, it’s no wonder why people are racing to nab 19p vegetables

Sainsbury’s, Aldi, Tesco, ASDA, Morrisons, and Lidl are all dropping the prices of everything from potatoes and carrots to parsnips and cabbage to ensure you have the most stress-free Easter possible.

“Don’t know if the other supermarkets are doing this for Easter buy from Thursday 6th April some of the fresh veg in Lidl is 19p!” one person wrote on Facebook group ‘Scrimping on a budget’.

Clearly shocked at this, Trachea Mae shared a photo of her basket with the veg to demonstrate her point.

Another person shared a post about the same deal on the group ‘Extreme Couponing and Bargains UK’.
