Shoppers are racing to Aldi to bag bargain candles that make you home smell like the nicest Starbucks drinks

Nothing says the return of autumn quite like the taste and smell of pumpkin spice. 

The popular flavour is now a complete seasonal staple, not least because of the popularity of Starbucks’ viral Pumpkin Spice Latte.

And now fans of the aromatic blend can get a candle that will infuse their whole home with the smell of autumn, perfect for the miserable nights ahead. 

A savvy shopper has posted about a new range of candles she eyed in Aldi in the Facebook group Extreme Couponing and Bargains. 

Each one is inspired by one of Stabucks’ staple autumnal flavours, and is priced at a very reasonable £3.99. 

Canny customer Lydia shared pictures of the flavours Pumpkin Spice, Caramelised Maple and Apple Fudge, which come in gorgeous orange, red and yellow shades to resemble the seasonal colourway. 

They also each come with a cute wooden lid to match the rustic vibe, which means you can protect the wick if you want to stash it away for a while. 

“Aldi autumn lushness,” she added in the caption, alongside a heart-eyes emoji. 

Lydia’s post quickly racked up more than 500 likes and comments, with members preparing to dash to Aldi and pick up the bargain buys. 

“Caramelised Maple sounds lovely,”  gushed one. 

“Had the Apple Fudge burning tonight ang omg it smells gorgeous,” another added. 

“I’ve got all three candles,” a third fan wrote, “and they smell absolutely amazing,” finishing their comment with of row of heart-eye emojis. 

These aren’t the only candles currently on offer in Aldi that have got shoppers in a tizz. 

There’s also a range of pastry-inspired ones in flavours Fresh Croissant, Pan au Chocolat and Cinnamon Twist. 

They’re inspired by Overrose’s fancy £46 ones that are a favourite of celebs and influencers – but at just £4 each, Aldi’s version are much easier on the purse strings.
