They were last available on shelves as a limited edition back in 2005 and have the classic digestive base with a layer of white chocolate on top.

The pack of 15 biscuits is available to buy in Sainsbury’s currently and will soon be sold in others such as Co-op, Tesco, Asda and Morrisons.

Sainsbury’s customers can pick up the sweet treats for £1.90, or £1.50 if they have a Nectar Card.

But despite the new product launching earlier this month, some shoppers are only just realising it’s back.

It comes after shoppers clocked another McVitie’s favourite after it made a return to shelves.

Happy Faces were axed around 2015 but spotted on Asda shelves again in May.

One fan shared their find on the Extreme Couponing and Bargains UK Facebook group.

The fan who spotted them posted a picture, captioning it: “There back!!! ASDA £1”

Others in the comment section shared the same level of enthusiasm.

One said: “Love these biscuits,” while another added: “I need these!!!”

In other shopping news, Cadbury has axed a classic snack – and shoppers are devastated.

Meanwhile, Tesco shoppers have been rushing to buy a home must-have that’s scanning at the tills for £19.50 instead of £70.
