It comes in a bright red colour and your dog will be able to lie in a soft comfy bed.

It’s 55cm long and 40cm wide – so might not be suitable for big dogs or cats.

One shopper, Lauren Patton, 37, from Belfast, bagged the bed for her Chihuahua, Buddy, and uploaded the bargain to the Extreme Couponing and Bargains UK Facebook group.

Tens of thousands of shoppers liked and commented on the post.

One said: “This looks fabulous, and I have a Chihuahua who would love it. Christmas sorted for her.”

Another said: “Looks great,” while one fan commented: “My fur baby loves hers”.

Speaking to The Sun, Lauren said: “I thought it was so adorably cute and I instantly knew that I had to buy it for Buddy, and that that Buddy would absolutely love it.

“Even better was the fact that it was available to buy for only £5.99 which in my opinion was an absolute bargain, so I thought it was worth posting to show others it was available to buy.”

You can buy the sleigh online, and we’ve asked Home Bargains if it is available to buy in stores too.

Make sure you factor in the cost of delivery.

Delivery costs from £3.49 – and it’s only free if you spend £150 or more on your haul.

Before you splash at, make sure to compare prices online.

You might find the same or similar item for less elsewhere.

Although Home Bargains’ sleigh bed was the cheapest we could find online, we did spot other shops flogging cute festive pet beds too.

Asda is selling a Christmas Tree bed for £15, while TK Maxx is selling a red Santa bed for £19.99.

Here’s the best Christmas snacks to stock up on for this year’s celebrations.

Mars has scrapped its Celebrations advent calendar this year, which fans will be disappointed about.
