She said the supermarket was having a clearout as it was getting set to close, which is how she landed the food for just a FIFTH of the price.

The shopper nabbed snacks, a heap of sauces, coffee and other bits and pieces in her haul.

The five tins of coffee on their own would have added up to more than £18 on a usual day.

She took to Facebook to share the haul, writing: “Thank you Co-Op – all of this for £18.”

The shopper added that the supermarket was apparently changing to Asda, so selling everything off.

Shocked bargain hunters raced to the comments, asking how she’d “managed” to land such great deals.

Others congratulated the shopper on the “good haul”, and dubbed it “incredible”.

One wrote: “If all those items were 50p or less then I guess it could be done.”

Looking over the Co-Op site, some of the sauces usually cost a whopping £2.65 each, while coffee can be a massive £6 a tin.

The shopper went on to share photos of the “clearance” stickers on her goods – with some food being brought down to just 30p.

Despite the woman’s savings, others said their local Co-Op is “the most expensive shop in town”.
