A LITTLE-known shop is selling Reece’s Pieces for just 1p.
Discount retailer Approved Food has reduced packs of Reese’s Pieces from the usual price of £1.89.

Approved Food is an online retailer that helps customers save money on their food shop.
It sells products that are either near or have gone past their ‘best before’ dates which means supermarkets can no longer sell them.
Best before signifies how long you’ve got until the product loses it’s quality whereas use by means it must be consumed by that date.
The Reece’s offer is for a 113g box and the best-before date is listed as October 31.

This particular offer is listed as a “mega deal” and is limited to one per customer.
Bear in mind stock will vary on the site depending on what the company has picked up from supermarkets, and this also applies to offers.
With websites such as this things can change quickly so if you spot a bargain it is best not to hang around.
We spotted some other “mega deals” such as a pack of four chunky KitKats for 50p down from £1.90, and a large Cadbury dairy milk bar (850g) from £10 to just £3.

Cans of Diet Coke (330ml) were also on offer at 25p down from 69p.
If you are not too particular about best-before dates there are some savings to be had compared to other supermarkets.
We could not find the same box of Reece’s Pieces online in any of the larger supermarkets but it is retailing on American Kandy for £2.49.
A smaller 90g pouch was selling in Sainsbury’s for £1.75 and Asda for £1.35.
The large Dairy Milk bar is on Ocado for £9 at the time we checked, and a can of Diet Coke in Sainsbury’s cost £1.05.
It is easy to order from Approved Food, you just need to register for an account.
Delivery charges vary depending on how big your order is but it costs £3 for boxes up to 25kg, £5 for 50kg boxes or £9 for boxes up to 75kg.
Delivery is free for orders over £55.
Is there anything similar out there?
Too Good to Go is an app that allows you to buy end-of-day food that supermarkets, cafes and shops would otherwise throw away.
It works on your location so all you need to do is download the app, set your postcode and you can choose from a list of stores that are close to you.
Bear in mind that with Too Good To Go, you don’t know what you are getting so it is purely potluck.
Similar to Too Good To Go, you can search for nearby food to pick up based on your location through the Karma app.
You can then purchase meals at discounted prices.
However, unlike Too Good To Go, you do know what you are getting so there is less chance of it going to waste.
No Waste is an excellent way to get organised and minimise your food waste, as you can scan your products and list them by the expiry date, name or category.
It makes it easier to see what you are running out of, so you don’t double up on items in your next shop.
