Shania Twain Has A New Album In The Works
During an interview with Greatest Hits Radio in September 2022, Shania Twain discussed the record she has been working on. She modified her recording plans during the epidemic as the album was being produced.
Like many other musicians, Twain discovered that the additional time spent in confinement was beneficial for coming up with fresh ideas. She said, “I was quite productive.” “I was productive in my creativity. I thought a lot. I’ll be honest; sometimes I like to be alone myself. The alone doesn’t bother me. I don’t mind being alone. She made it clear that she favoured voluntary seclusion to coercive isolation. But I do choose to separate myself a lot. Me and my guitar are the only things present when I sit and compose music. It’s my time alone.
Her New Music Is ‘Playful’
Twain has been singing since she was a little girl, and while she enjoys writing songs that seem like they belong at a concert in a vast stadium, she also tries to incorporate important themes into her songs.
The music she is currently recording, she said, “keeps that energy going, that makes me want to get out there every night and have a good time, party, laugh, smile, and people-watch. For the sake of enjoying my shows live and what I enjoy out of the current live energy that I put out with my song list now.”
She continued, “The music is still lighthearted even if there is a lot of music on this album that communicates in a really open way.
She dropped her newest single, “Waking Up Dreaming,” in September 2022.
Shania Returned To Music In The 2010s After A Long Hiatus
With her diamond-certified albums Come On Over and Up!, Shania Twain dominated the country and mainstream music scenes in the late 1990s and early 2000s. With songs like “Man! I Feel Like a Woman!” “That Don’t Impress Me Much,” and “You’re Still the One,” Come On Over in particular represented a significant turning point in the singer’s career and went on to become the highest-selling album by a female artist of all time.
Twain was bitten by a tick while touring in 2003 in promotion of her album Up! as a result of which she developed Lyme illness. Shania had to quit driving and focus on her health, and the years that followed were spent helping her regain her strength. She had health issues and lost her singing voice; to regain it, she endured a number of vocal operations.
The singer ultimately made a stage comeback in 2012 with a residency show in Las Vegas, and she was back on top.
Her Last Released Album Was In 2017
In 2017, Twain released Now, her first studio album in 15 years since the release of Up!.
After the release of Now, Twain launched her second Vegas residency show, which wrapped in September 2022.
