Secret Google codes for DOZENS of hidden features on your Android phone

YOU can access hidden apps and settings on your Android mobile using a handful of secret codes.

They’re known as “custom dialler codes” and allow you to carry out tasks such as checking your battery level and show your mobile’s unique identifying number known as the IMEI.

What are custom dialler codes?

Custom dialler codes are little-known strings of symbols and numbers that you can plug into your smartphone’s keypad.

They typically start with a “*” followed by a “#” and can be up to 16 characters long.

Different phones companies – such as Samsung, Google and OnePlus – use different custom dialler codes for certain functions.

However, there are a number of universal ones that work across most Android phones.

Largely, the codes perform functions or show information that you can access by going into various apps or your settings.

Using the custom codes to get to them is basically a bit of fun if you’re the sort of tech geek who finds secret menus a laugh.

Apple’s iPhone has its own set of custom dialler codes, and the codes below will not work on an iOS device.

Try some of the codes out below by opening your default phone app and heading to the keypad. Type in the code and hit the call button.
