According to Millie’s Beach Huts, the starting price to build a hut is around £12,500.
Painting it, adding flooring and then insulation adds around another £300 plus on to the cost, says Checkatrade.
There is also the added job of sorting out the water and electricity supply as there isn’t any access currently.
And local estate agents Seldons are expecting the plot to sell for more than the asking price because of its desirable location.
