  • Save a third on Student Railcards – buy here

Available at thetrainline.com, travellers can get a third off rail travel.

That means you’ll be able to snap up a railcard for just £20, or a three year railcard for as little as £47 – a steal considering a three year railcard can cost £70.

It’s perfectly timed if you’re a student looking to head off to university and wanting to snap up a 16-25 railcard for the duration of your course.

However it’s also fabulous news for other travellers as the offer is also available on Senior Railcards, 26 – 30 Railcards, Two Together Railcards, Family and Friends Railcards, Network Railcards, and the 16-17 Saver.

By buying through The Trainline, you’ll get the offer for less, but it’s also stored directly in the Trainline app which makes travelling a breeze – as long as the trains are running.

The discounts are only available on some three year Railcards (hello 16 – 25), and some Railcards will only offer discounts on their one year counterpart, such as the 26-30 Railcard.

Railcards are can be used for discounted train fares during Off-Peak times, weekends, and public holidays, and only some age-related Railcards can be used during Peak times with a minimum fare – with the exception of the Disabled Persons Railcard which can be used at any time.

This offer is available until the end of August, so don’t hang about if you want to make the most of it before term starts – and remember that individual requirements will apply for each Railcard.
