Amazon has dropped prices across a wide range of Garmin ranges, with great options at various price points.
With Christmas – gasp – the weekend after next, this is the optimum moment to pick up a gift for anybody you know who’s into fitness (or has vowed to go on a health kick in the New Year).
Garmin is an industry leader when it comes to fitness-focused smartwatches and is definitely a reliable brand to invest in.
The standout deal in Amazon’s sale is on the Forerunner 245 Running Watch, which has been reduced from £299.99 to £169.99.
Released in 2019, the Forerunner 245 will track all the metrics you’d expect at this price point – steps, heartrate, calories, minutes of intense exercise per week – and will also provide adaptive training thanks to the Garmin Coach function.
You can also sync it with your Spotify account so you can play music while you’re out running, without being lumbered with your phone.
The higher-spec Garmin Venu 2S (£249, was £349.99) does all that but also comes with a Health Snapshot function that will provide you with a sleep score and even calculate your ‘fitness age’ (we’re not entirely sure we want to know that one: ignorance is bliss).

You’ll also find options for kids available: the Garmin Vivofit Jr fitness tracker has been discounted by 26% to just £59.99.
This comes with less frills and functions, but is swim-friendly and can be used with a kid-friendly Garmin Interactive app.
It’s not just smartwatches included in the Garmin sale either: you’ll find a few of the brand’s satnavs and dashcams have also been reduced.
Don’t miss the price drops on the Garmin Drive 52 Sat Nav (£89, was £119.99) or the Garmin 67W Dash Cam (£169.99, was £199.99).
