Foldable smartphones have been making waves among tech overs, and now Honor’s latest offering is taking the market by a storm.

Samsung‘s rival has created the incredibly thin Magic V2 device.

The phone measures just 9.9mm when folded – which can then shrink to just 4.7mm when unfolded.

This makes it thinner than other popular phones – including the Google Pixel Fold, Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 5 and the OnePLus Open.

The display boasts a 120Hz refresh rate, HDR10+ and a peak brightness of 1,600 units.

And if this wasn’t enough, the screen is protected by “drop-resistant nanocrystal glass”.

The Magic V2 is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Gen chipset – which is the same processor used in the Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra and the One Plus 11.

Photography enthusiasts will appreciate the phone’s triple rear camera with 50MP lens.

The phone comes with additional features – including a side-mounted fingerprint sensor, 5G, stereo speakers and Android 13 software.

Users can get their hands on the Magic V2 from February 2.

It comes as Honor launched the all-new Magic6 Lite is a mid-range handset with a competitive price tag.

The firm has just announced that it’s coming to the UK later this month at £349.99.

Buyers will also receive a free Honor Pad X8 tablet worth £99.99 when they purchase the smartphone.

One of the key selling points Honor is hoping to catch people’s attention with is its anti-drop display.

The firm says it uses “advanced cushioning technology” from newly developed materials which can prevent the chances of a nasty crack across your screen.
