When does Sainsbury’s open over Easter?

Opening times for Sainsbury’s stores will vary over the Easter weekend.

To make sure you’re not caught out, make sure you check ahead with your local store, which you can find using the supermarket’s online store checker tool.

Like the others, the vast majority of Sainsbury’s supermarkets across England, Wales and Northern Ireland will be closed on Easter Sunday.

Large Sainsbury’s shops are typically open between 7am and 11pm.

Branches will be open as normal on Good Friday, Saturday and Easter Monday, and stores in Scotland will remain open on all days.

Is Sainsbury’s delivering over the Easter weekend?

Supermarket delivery slots can often be hard to get during holiday periods, so you may struggle to get one in time for Easter.

If you spend £40 or more, delivery costs start from a quid.

If it’s under £40, you’ll be charged £7.

And if you spend £100 or more, delivery is free after 2pm Monday to Thursday.
