SAINSBURY’S has revealed its food line up for Christmas – and it includes pigs in blankets SUSHI.
Anyone looking for a twist to the festive classic can enjoy the £3 nibbles from November.

The pigs in “snowy” blankets are wrapped in cranberry sauce, nori seaweed and sushi rice, topped with more of the berry condiment and crispy onions.
Another fish dish hitting the shelves is the crab and lemon mousse pot – a starter made of layered crab mouse and lemon mousse, topped with white crab meat.
Sainsbury’s will also be selling a whole lobster that’s ready to eat for £12 from December 20.
More traditional dishes of festive faves are also on sale for the big day.

You can also sneak a peek at Tesco’s festive menu which was unveiled back in JULY.
And Aldi’s line-up includes sprout pesto and partridge in a pear tree wellington.
Taste the Difference pork and cranberry wreath

These star-shapes nibbles are made of puff pastry and crammed with pork and cranberries.
Sprinkled with poppy seeds and a festive golden shimmer, they will be available in stores from December 8 and cost £6.50.
Brussels sprout and parsnip snacking bhajis

Sainsbury’s has also given the classic bhaji a festive twist with sprouts and parsnips.
They are priced at just £1 and are on sale from November 1.
Maple and marmalade gammon

This festive ham gets a sweet glaze made of maple and marmalade on top.
The joint is available from December 9 and is priced at £15.
Sainsbury’s is also selling a plant-based gammon roast made from wheat and pea protein, along with a maple glaze.
The vegan joint goes on sale on December 8 and is prices at £5.50.
Taste the difference lemon and passion fruit bûche

For those with a sweet tooth Sainsbury’s has a lemon and passion fruit bûche (french for log).
The luxury dessert has a silky passionfruit and orange curd at its centre and drizzled on top.
You can get it from December 20 and it’s priced at £10.
Yule pups

Chocolate fans can still get their hands on a traditional yule log though.
Sainsbury’s has added a festive dog face to its pack of yule logs and they even have Santa hats.
If you can bear to eat them, they come in a pack of five and go on sale on October 27 priced at £2.20.
