When is Black Friday 2021?
This year Black Friday falls on November 26.
The huge sale event always takes place the day after the American holiday Thanksgiving – which falls on the fourth Thursday of the month.
Sales can start early, and Sainsbury’s Black Friday offers have previously kicked off three days ahead of the day itself.
That means it’s sensible to keep your eyes open in the days or even weeks running up to Black Friday, as some retailers – including Argos – start even earlier in November.

When is Cyber Monday and will Sainsbury’s be taking part?
Cyber Monday lands on November 29 this year, with plenty more online-only deals available following Black Friday.
Sainsbury’s has had Cyber Monday offers previously, so there’s a good chance it will take part again this year.
What to expect from the Sainsbury’s Black Friday sale 2021
Sainsbury’s has not yet announced its Black Friday deals but the store has confirmed it’ll be holding a Tu clothing event as well as Argos discounts in 2021.
The supermarket has partnered with Argos on Black Friday for the last two years, and we expect to see the same this year.
So look out for top deals on electronics, entertainment, appliances and toys at Argos.
Plus, Sainsbury’s has previously offered 25% off all its own-brand Tu clothing so we should see great prices on fashion for men, women and kids – as well as baby clothes and accessories.
