One user said: “Sounds tasty.”

Another said: “Shut the front door! I’m going tomorrow for sure!”

However, Tesco does sell two other flavours of Matchmakers – cool mint and zingy orange.

They’re both 120 grams and cost £1.25 so it’s likely the caramel coffee flavour will be the same in terms of size and cost.

We will update you when we have the calories, size and cost confirmed.

It’s not the first time in recent weeks and months that a retro food has made a reappearance on shop shelves.

Pot Noodle brought back its kebab flavour after nine years last month.

Fans were left undecided though.

One said: “Need to try this,” while another said: “That sounds grim.”

Meanwhile, Cadbury brought back their famous Astro’s in the same month.

It left shoppers brimming with nostalgic feels.
