The tongue-in-cheek theory suggests people’s “real DNA” will be unlocked on December 21, and links it to a rare celestial event due that day.

Twitter user @lottidot appears to have started the meme trend. She tweeted a response to a thread about coronavirus and it ended up going viral.
It’s one of a flurry of conspiracy theories that have cropped up in recent weeks linking supernatural events to December 21.
On that day, Saturn and Jupiter will form a bright “double star” phenomenon in the sky.
The event has sparked many conspiracy theories and viral jokes. One claims that black people will get superpowers on the same day.

It says: “As black people, genetically we are stronger and smarter than everyone else, we are more creative, on December 21 our Real DNA will be unlocked and majority will be able to do things that we thought were fiction.
“Learn who u are as a people they wanna make us average.”

The “Christmas star” is when two astronomical bodies meet in a celestial dome called the Great Conjunction.
