PRIMARK has revealed its highly anticipated click and collect service is launching today at 25 stores in the UK.

The stores participating in the click and collect trial are located across the North West of England, Yorkshire and Wales.

The Sun was given an exclusive first look at the new click and collect desk at Primark in Sheffield.

Customers will be able to pick up their orders for a dedicated desk on second floor.

They will also be able to pay for any other items they have picked up in store at this desk.

The trial will only include kids toys, clothing and nursery ranges.

That means you won’t be able to order other ranges, like womenswear and homeware, and pick it up.

But the retail giant says around 2,000 items from its kids range will be available to order.

Plus hundreds of new items and exclusive ranges will be available exclusively to click and collect customers.

This includes new items from Primark’s Disney range, and larger items of nursery decor and kids toys.

After browsing online and adding items to a virtual basket, shoppers will be able to choose a day to collect their parcel.

Orders will be available for collection between two and seven days after the order has been placed.

Shoppers will have to spend a minimum of £15 to use the click and collect service, but there is no delivery charge.

Each store will have a designated click and collect service desk.

Paul Marchant, Primark chief executive, said: “The trial offers the convenience of browsing and shopping from the comfort of your home, while also providing customers living near one our smaller stores, like Wallasey, as big a range as on offer in a much larger store like Liverpool.

“Everyone, no matter their local store, will get access to lots of exclusive new products.”

Primark is also looking to minimise excess packaging by using paper packaging.

All orders will be delivered to store in brown paper packaging, or cardboard boxes sealed with paper tape featuring the new Click and Collect branding.

The retailer said all of its packaging can be easily recycled at home.
