PRIMARK shoppers are rushing out to buy kitchen essentials scanning at the till for just £1 instead of £5.

The two-pack of Winnie the Pooh tea towels were spotted by one eagle-eyed customer who posted about them on the Extreme Couponing and Bargains UK group.

She posted a photo of the tea towels with the caption: “Winnie the Pooh tea towels should of been £5 scanned at £1 so got a few more.”

The post has been liked over 200 times with over 20 fellow shoppers looking to get their hands on the towels.

We couldn’t find the product on Primark’s website so you might have to head down to your nearest branch to see if they have them.

However, shops tends to heavily discount items to clear excess stock, so there’s no guarantee they’ll be at your local store.

You can always call ahead to see if it has the tea towels in stock and if they are reduced.

And of course, you should always shop around when buying any product.

Just because Primark is selling the tea towels for £1 that doesn’t mean you can’t find them cheaper elsewhere.

You can use Google Shopping to see what other retailers are selling the same product for.

However, when we looked online we couldn’t find anywhere else stocking the same towels as Primark.

Tesco is selling a different two-pack of Winnie the Pooh tea towels, but they are £4 – and that’s before factoring in any delivery costs.

It’s not the first time in recent weeks shoppers have found items scanning at massive discounts.

In March, independent department store called Atkinsons was selling an air fryer for £10 instead of £120.

Earlier this month, B&M shoppers were rushing to buy a Lego set scanning for £10 instead of £35 – a whopping 71% discount.

You have to be quick to spot such deals though.

Plus, a major retailer is closing one of its branches within days.
