PRIMARK shoppers are rushing to buy a £6 Disney items that scans at the till for just 50p.
The retail giant is selling a sippy cup and plate in the shape of Simba from The Lion King.

The items were marked as £6 each but after taking them to the till, a happy shopper discovered they scanned at just 50p
Posting in Facebook’s Extreme Couponing and Bargains group, they said: “After seeing a few posts on here about these scanning at 50p I thought I’d check while in Primark today…
“…Wasn’t marked down but took them to the till and they were 50p so went and got some more, I have a 5 month old myself, cousins and friends who have had/having babies, yes I got quite a few and no I did not clear the shelf.
“So chuffed with them.”
And shoppers were also impressed writing that they too must have the product.
One tagged her friend and wrote: “We need to go!”
While another said: “Koko needs that plate xx.”
However, some shoppers said they were not as impressed.

One wrote: “The cup was beyond useless as a cup. My daughter uses it as a snack pot instead.”
And another added: “Don’t waste money on the cup I can’t even drink out of it let alone my one-year-old.”
Bear in mind that prices and stock can vary from store to store.
We’ve asked Primark if the offer is available in all stores and will update the piece once we hear back.
At the time of writing, Peppa Penny was selling a Simba sippy cup for £11 – while it’s nearly double the price of Primark’s the lid does look more secure.
We couldn’t find a Simba-shaped plate online anywhere else, though it is wort checking in places in-store as stock can vary.
But you should always have a quick shop around first as you might be able to find a similar product cheaper elsewhere.
Use price comparison tools like Google Shopping to find similar products from other retailers and compare prices.
This isn’t the first time shoppers have found items that scan at a lower price at the till.
B&M fans were raving about a velvet chair that was scanning at the till for £10 – down from £70.
The woman said: “My bargain of the day is a £10 velvet dining chair in grey.”
A second shopper said: “I bought the chair, it looks great in my dressing room.”
Others were quick to jump on the deal and another shopper said: “I need one.”
“These are stunning – on my wish list,” said a third shopper.
Shoppers also discovered a summer must-have that was going for £470 less than the original price.
The discount store is selling the popular Lay-Z-Spa for just £30.
An eagle-eyed shopper spied the hot tub on sale in-store and was quick to share the find on social media.

Research what you need before you go.
Prices always vary and it can pay to change up your shop if you’re looking for a particular item, like children’s clothes, look at what stores are offering what.
One shopper ditched going to supermarkets altogether in favour of their local wholesaler, that way they could stock up in bulk, at lower prices.
For food shopping, you can also cash in on reduced foods like yellow sticker bargains – these will be items reduced because they’re about to meet their best-before date.
They’ll still be safe to eat or freeze to make them last longer, but it means you can pick up the same products at an even cheaper price.
If you’re really ahead of the game then you could also buy winter clothes in summer and vie versa.
More often than not, retailers put the clothes people won’t be wearing at the time up for sale – like winter coats in the summer.
Sign up to loyalty schemes as these can earn you points which you can then use for money off future shops.
Tesco offers personalised coupons to its loyal customers through its Clubcard scheme.
Meanwhile, Sainsbury’s revamped the Nectar loyalty scheme in 2019 to also offer personalised discounts.
Customers can see the deals on the website or app each week, and then collect the extra points if they buy the item in store or online.
