PRIMARK has opened two branches for 36 hours straight today to help shoppers get all their Christmas shopping done.
It’s understood that the high street retailer is working on plans to open more branches for around-the-clock marathon shopping sprees next weekend.
Primark is currently reviewing shopping hours at all of its stores ahead of an announcement.
The two branches opening today for 36 hours straight are in Glasgow and Northern Ireland, following the lifting of lockdown restriction.
In the Braehead Shopping Centre, Primark opened at 9am this morning after lockdown restrictions were lifted in Scotland.
The shop will stay open through the night, and most of Saturday, closing at 9pm.

Stores trading until 9pm: Irvine
Stores trading until 10pm: Argyle Street, Sauchiehall Street, East Kilbride, Edinburgh
Stores trading until midnight: Braehead, Edinburgh Fort Kinnaird

The following stores will trade until 9pm: Belfast Castle Street, Belfast Donegall Place, Lisburn and Buttercrane
The following stores will trade until 10pm: Ballymena, Newtownards, Newtownabbey, Derry and Omagh
Primark in Newtonabbey in Northern Ireland will also be open from 9am today until 9pm on Saturday evening.
It is believed Middlesborough Primark is one of the stores that will open for 36 hours on the weekend before Christmas, according to Teeside Live.
Primark is working with branches to discuss opening times on a store by store basis before confirming plans.
Some Primark stores opened for 24-hours to help people shop safely after lockdown lifted in England on Wednesday December 2.
It meant 11 stores were open from 7am on Wednesday morning and did not close again until Thursday evening.
Primark said at the time that branches will be open until at least 8pm on weekdays until December 23.
Retailers, including Primark, have extended opening hours in the run up to Christmas to give shoppers more time and space to shop.
Primark’s boss said late-night shoppers were mums wanting to socialise while kids were in bed.
