PRIMARK is FINALLY launching a new website that will let shoppers see what’s in stores.

It will also let customers know which stores are stocking their top picks so they know where to find them.

Unfortunately, it has no plans to launch a delivery service, so shoppers won’t be able to order goods online.

It’s welcome news for shoppers who were unable to browse product for much of last year due to the coronavirus lockdowns that forced non-essential retailers to close.

While many brands relied on online sales to keep them afloat, Primark held onto stock to sell for when stores reopened, even if it was out of season or last year’s lines.

The discounter’s current website shows a snippet of its latest products and directs customers to their nearest store – but it won’t tell them if the item is in stock.

How to find out what’s on offer at Primark

SOCIAL media can be a great way to find out what’s on offer at Primark without actually having to go shopping yourself.

nstagram and TikTok are a great place to start.

You can find videos relating to Primark by searching using hashhtags, such as #Primark, #PrimarkHauls and #PrimarkWorkers.

Bargain hunters can also keep up to date by following Youtubers and catching the latest videos. These include:

There is also an option to buy a gift card but shoppers are not able to place online orders.

Instead, customers have to turn to YouTubers and social media to get a sneak peek at what deals are in store.

However, bargain hunters will have to wait a while for the service though as the website isn’t planned to launch until early 2022.

In its latest trading update released today, the retailer said: “The improved functionality of the website will allow us to showcase a much larger proportion of the Primark range and provide to customers range availability by store.”

It comes as the bargain brand today reported its global revenue surged to £1.6billion between October and December 2020, despite being closed for much of it.

The retailer said its revenue had soared by an impressive 207% compared to the same time in the previous year, when revenue came in at £600million.

Primark put its success down to seven new store openings worldwide and extended opening hours which it ran for a limited time ahead of Christmas.

Since the reopening of stores in April in England and Wales, it has seen a shift among shoppers looking to ditch lounge-wear in favour of clothes, shoes and accessories.

It said: “There has been a strong response to our two hero womenswear ranges for spring/summer, Joyful Gelato and Garden Party, with the pink gingham and purple blazers selling out within weeks supported by digital marketing.”

The retailer confirmed it plans to return taxpayer cash it used to furlough staff using the Government’s coronavirus job retention scheme.

The Sun was given a sneak preview of what shoppers could expect to find in stores ahead of them reopening earlier this year.

We were also given a first look at its first-ever maternity range.

And while the discounter isn’t holding an official sale, shoppers have spotted reduced price across clothing and homeware.
